We want to make you, the passenger, aware of the rights and obligations that apply between us and you by the present conditions, and we ask you to please read them carefully.
The passenger participates in a tour at his/her own risk, and the passenger is therefore encouraged to provide by himself the relevant personal insurances such as travel, illness and accident insurance, and cancellation insurance.
We make reservations about price changes and printing errors in text, pictures and links on our website. We also make reservations about unforeseen events, incidents out of our control (force majeure), and incorrect information that may be due to printing errors on written material.
Complaints about any deficiencies in connection with the tour must be made immediately to us on site. Otherwise, the passenger loses the right to invoke the defect. Furthermore, a complaint must be set forth no later than one month after returning home unless special reasons make it reasonable to extend the time limit for appeal.
No refund will be given for tickets for passengers in the event of a passenger’s cancellation. The order is binding after the ticket is purchased. We may recommend travel insurance with cancellation insurance and cover in connection with cancellation due to illness. Reimbursement of costs then becomes a matter between the passenger and his/her insurance company.
If Arctic Latitude Norway AS or Arctic Yachting AS cancels the tour, we will reimburse your payment. In this case, a reimbursement period of 10-12 days should be expected.
We expect that the persons who enrol on a tour with us are at normal, good health and shape to cope with themselves and also to supervise and take care of their own children, if any. Furthermore, we assume that passengers are sufficiently capable and suitably equipped for the tour, in addition to equipment provided for by us, see arcticyachting.no. Our crew does not have the capacity to provide special assistance to passengers who cannot take care of their own mobility. The passenger must be either be able to act self-reliantly or bring his/her dedicated support companion.
Due to the provisions of the Alcohol Act it is not allowed to enjoy brought alcoholic beverages on the tour.
We refer to the Norwegian Sea Act which authorizes our right, in specified cases, to waive our liability for loss of luggage, life, damage to person, object or loss due to accident or breakdown.
